Barcelona-Home has an intern program which runs throughout the year. For more information please fill out the information below.

Barcelona-home has a lot of experience with interns and receives many applications from students from all around the world. We always try to assign the intern with tasks and projects that correspond to their education and interests.

Barcelona-home mainly offers internships to students (Obligatory Internships) but can also provide Voluntary Internships.

Obligatory Internships - the internship is an Obligatory Requirement for your Degree. Your school/university will have to provide us with a contract for the Internship. It should be drawn in three parts; one for the student, one for the university and one for us.

Voluntary Internships - a voluntary internship will provide the ideal opportunity to gain work experience. (Please contact Barcelona-home for further information)

Barcelona-home can provide internships involving some of the following assignments depending on your abilities and interests:
 

Handling bookings and customer enquiries (This includes answering e-mails, answering phone-calls, face-to face contact with clients and correspondence with existing clients)

Apartment viewings and other customer related work

Projects within the Marketing and Communications departments (maintenance of existing marketing relations and creation of new ones)

Translation work for our websites and marketing products

We are offering many extra services such as tours and guestlist. Our main objective, as a company, is to provide the highest level of service to all our clients in order to meet all their wishes. Knowledge, skills and competence to be acquired:

- Improve English and Spanish level
- Training of communication skills
- Experience working with foreign people
- Training of marketing skills

- Competence of working completely individually
- Skills of training other persons

Training period:

The internship will be in English. In the beginning the student will need some training but later on he/she will be able to carry out a wide variety of tasks and take on increasing responsibility throughout the internship. It is very important in this company that the student has to improve himself/herself every day.

Tasks of the intern:

- Administration and booking of apartments
- Daily contact with international customers (in person, on the telephone or per email)
- Marketing activities
- Participating in several projects
- Translating texts
- Dealing with complaints
- Working with intranet
- Training and managing interns
- Sending newsletters
- Visiting apartments with customers
- Organizing extra services

Ya se que esto no es esperado, ni necesario pero a mi me gusta agradecer a las personas que han tomado parte en las experiencias de mi vida.

Me la pase muy bien en la oficina, lo cual no lo esperaba, porque muchos siempre dicen que la vida en una oficina es algo un poco aburrido y repetitivo. Esto fue facil, ya que hay un ambiente muy amistoso y divertido en la de Barcelona-home, lo cual se me hace muy importante para cualquier sitio de trabajo.

Esta fue la primera vez que trabajo para una compa~ia , y pues queria decir que me gusto mucho el estar con todos ustedes todos los dias. Aprendi mucho de lo importante que es tener una empresa organizada y estructurada, desde como pasa todo en la oficina, a como toma lugar la venta de productos o servicios, en este caso el alojamiento de los pisos y apartamentos. Deveras creo que mi experiencia con ustedes me va ayudar mucho en el futuro, ya que entiendo como un negocio requiere de un liderazgo determinado y astuto como el que demostraron usted y Bea.

Asique gracias por todo. La verdad es que aprendi mucho de usted, y espero usar todo lo que aprendi un dia, y quien sabe, alomerjor puedo empezar mi propia empresa.

De nuevo, gracias por todo lo que hizo, y por haber agrandezido mi deseo de trabajar en otros lugares como la oficina de Barcelona-home, para aprender de gente trabajadora como ustedes.
